We would like to invite you to a workshop to find out about how children learn to read and write at the Lower Site. As a school, we use the Read Write Inc Phonics scheme. We will discuss how the children learn each of the sounds and how they learn to blend these sounds into words. 

Dear Parents and Carers, On Wednesday, 23rd October, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm we will be hosting our first Parents Evening of the year. This event provides an important opportunity for you to meet with your child’s teachers and discuss their academic progress so far this year.

The UK Government’s Household Support Fund has funded food vouchers for children and young people entitled to free school meals during the school holidays for the last three years. However, that funding comes to an end on 30 September 2024.
