Derwent Hill
It's been fantastic to hear about the success of the recent trip to Derwent Hill outdoor education and training for the learners at the Lower Site. The varied challenges, from late-night mountain trekking to gorge walking, high-level obstacle courses, and canoeing, provided a diverse range of experiences that contributed significantly to our learner’s development.
We have found that such outdoor education experiences not only enhance academic learning but also play a crucial role in shaping well-rounded individuals. The memories and lessons learnt during these trips often stay with our learners for a lifetime. A big thank you to Miss Allen and Miss Cotton for their hard work and dedication to making sure that all of our learners had the best possible time.
